Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1-1/4 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic
- 1/4 cup sliced green onion
- 2 cans tuna, flaked
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 lb. broccoli, cut bite size
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
1. Spray frying pan with cooking spray. Sauté mushrooms until moisture has evaporated. Add next six ingredients. Stir.
2. Mix flour and second amount of milk in small bowl until no lumps remain. Stir into tuna mixture and heat until it boils and thickens. Remove from heat.
3. Cook broccoli in boiling water until barely tender. Drain. Scatter over bottom of 3 quart casserole. Pour tuna mixture over top. Sprinkle with cheese , then bread crumbs.
4. Bake uncovered at 350F for 30 minutes until bubbly hot.
