Ingredients

  • 4 lbs. lean meaty pork ribs
  • water to cover
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 ts. dry mustard
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp, pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. ground cloves
  • 5-1/2 oz. tomato paste
  • 1 cup water

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut ribs into 2 ib servings. Place in large pot. Add enough water to cover. Boil for 30 minutes. Drain.

2. Measure remaining ingredients into a saucepan. Heat stirring frequently until it simmers. Simmer gently until onion is soft.

3. Transfer ribs to a roaster. Pour sauce over the ribs. Cover and bake at 350F for 1 hour.
