Easy Danish Cake

Ingredients
- 2 8oz. cans Crescent Rolls
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 8oz. pkg. Cream Cheese
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
- 1 Egg - Separated
- 1/2 cup chopped Pecans
- 1 can Pie Filling- Lemon, Blueberry, Strawberry or Cherry

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350'. Grease the bottom of a 9 X 13 pan. Spread 1 can of crescent rolls in the bottom of the pan. Cream together 3/4 cup Sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and egg yolk until fluffy. Spread mixture in pan over the rolls. Spread can of Pie Filling over this mixture. Top with
the other can of crescent rolls to cover filling completely. Beat egg white until frothy and brush on top of the rolls. Sprinkle remaining sugar over top and then sprinkle nuts over the sugar. Bake for 35 min. or until golden brown. Cool and cut into squares.
