Ingredients
- For the filling:
- 1-1/2 cups Chunky Applesauce
- Cinnamon to taste
- less than 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 36 Kraft Mini Caramel Bits
- For the crumble topping:
- 2 tbsp cold Butter, cut into small pieces
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 3 tbsp Flour
- 1 pre-made Pie Crust
Preparation
Step 1
Let the piecrust sit out for about 15 minutes for easier handling. Unroll the piecrust and place on a clean surface of your choice. Use a cup with a rim that measures 2-1/2 inches and cut out 12 circles. Place in non-stick mini muffin tin. These will fit perfectly.
Add the cinnamon and vanilla to the applesauce and stir well. With a small spoon, place the filling into the piecrust to just below the rim.
Mix the butter, brown sugar and flour with a fork or your fingers until it is well mixed and crumbly. With a small spoon or your fingers, place on top of all the pies, distributing it evenly. At this point, you can place in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
Bake at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes or the crust is looking brown. Wait about 15-20 minutes and then they should pop right out of the pan.
