Tortellini Chowder

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Italian bulk sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
- 2 tbsp. minced garlic
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 2 cups light cream
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 2/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup green chiles
- 2 fresh jalapenos
- 2 cups cubed red potatoes
- 2 cans (15 oz.) Mexican corn
- 2 cups cheese tortellini cooked and drained
- 1 tsp. cumin

Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown sausage, red pepper, garlic and onion together.
2. Add potatoes, carrots, seasonings and broth. Cook until potatoes are a firm but a little tender.
3. Thicken with flour.
4. Add the remaining ingredients, BUT DO NOT BOIL.
more spice can be added to 'kick it up a notch'.
