Ma's Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
- 1 ham bone
- 3 cloves of garlic
- salt & pepper
- 2 ribs of celery
- 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 16 oz. bag of soup vegetables
- frozen butter beans
- frozen okra
- sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Boil ham bone with water in soup pot. Chop onion add onion & garlic to pot. Boil until ham is tender. Cut off bone. Add celery, salt & pepper. Add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of tomato sauce. Add a bag of soup vegetables (corn, peas, carrots, green beans), also some butter beans. Add in a spoon full of sugar to cut the acid. Add okra last and cook until vegetables are to your liking.
