Ingredients
- 1 cup whole almonds
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla

Step 1
Spread almond on cookie sheet, bake 350 for 7 mins till lightly toasted, cool. Chop finely 1/4 cup. Chop remaining. Combine flour, sugar, powder, cinnamon & salt. Stir in eggs, butter, vanilla & nuts till smooth. Divide in half and shape into 2 logs 13 x 1 1/2, bake ungreased pan. Cool 10 mins, cut 1/2" slices, lay flat on pan and bake 5 more mins. Cool completely.
