Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks butter) softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups cups (11.5 oz) Nestle milk chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.
3. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla in small bowl until creamy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
5. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
6. Stir in morsels and nuts.
7. Drop by tablespoons on ungreased baking sheet.
8.Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until golden brown.
9. Cool baking sheets for 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
10. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
PAN COOKIE VARIATION.
1. Grease a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread into prepared pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.
