Banana French Toast

This recipe is very fast and easy. Recipe can be doubled and tripled. Try the unusual syrup recipe.

Ingredients
- Also:
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 Ripe Banana
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 6 Thick Slices French Bread
- Bananas, sliced
- Coconut, toasted
- Syrup:
- 6 ounces Butterscotch Candies
- 18 ounces Imitation Maple Syrup
Preparation
Step 1
In the blender, combine all ingredients except the bread. Blend until smooth.
Pour the batter into a pie plate. Soak one side of the bread, then flip to coat the other.
Fry on a greased griddle at 250 degrees. When one side is golden brown, flip and fry the other side.
Serve with sliced bananas and toasted coconut.
To toast coconut:
Spread coconut on a pan and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until it turns light brown.
For Syrup:
Melt the butterscotch candies into 18 ounces of imitation maple syrup.
