  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bring water and butter to a rolling boil. Stir in flour all at once. Stir vigorously over low heat until mixture leaves the pan and forms into a ball (1 minute). Remove from heat (cool slightly). Beat in eggs one at a time, Beat mixture until smooth and velvety. Drop from spoon onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees, 45-50 minutes until puffed, golden brown and dry. Allow to cool slightly. Cut off tops with sharp knife and scoop out soft dough. Fill if desired
