Cowboy Chili

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs beef
  • crushed reds
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 med onion (frozen)
  • 1 can (16 oz) dark red kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 46 oz tomato juice
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 28oz diced tomato
  • 1-2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 2 cups cook elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbs. chili powder
  • 3 bay leaves
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef and drain. Add all ingredients except for noodles and simmer 30 minutes. Add noodles and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
