Sweeter Muffins

This recipe was in my old Betty Crocker cookbook that was given to me as a wedding present by my aunt in 1967.

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/4 cup oil
• 1 1/2 cups plain flour
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Grease muffin cups or use paper liners.
2. Beat egg, add milk & oil.
3. Add dry ingredients.
4. Fill cups 2/3 full.
5. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes until tops are brown.
