Candied Almonds

A delicious snack for on-the-go!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups almonds
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Preparation

Step 1

1. Soak almonds overnight. Drain.

2. Melt honey, then mix well with almonds, cinnamon and salt.

3. Spread out mixture on the Teflex liner of a dehydrator tray and dehydrate for about three days or until tops are no longer tacky.

4. Remove almonds from the liner with a spatula, then dehydrate on the screen tray for another two days.

The almonds may still cling together in clusters, but they still taste delicious!
