Ingredients

  • 2 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c. Salted butter
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 3/4 c. Dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 c. Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*
Grease or line 2-3 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars then add water and vanilla. Mix until just combined.
Add eggs to butter mixture and mix lightly.
Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. When mixed in, fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by 2 tablespoonfuls of the cookie dough 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 12-17 minutes or until the edges and centers are golden brown.
