Pan Fried/Broiled Parmesan Tilapia

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 4 Tilapia fillets
  • Italian Panko Bread Crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Flour to coat fish
  • Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tbs. Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/8 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 2 Tbs. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all topping ingredients and set aside. Coat fish in flour, dip in egg then coat in bread crumbs. Pan fry 4 to 5 minutes each side, I use a cast iron pan, fry 2 fillets at a time. Top each fillet with the topping and broil for 3 minutes or until cheese is browned.
