Spicy Geen Beans

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • bay leaf
  • 1 sm tomato, peeled and diced
  • 1 lb green beans, cut in 1" pieces
  • 2 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water, garlic, onion, bay leaf, tomato and green beans to boil. Cover and simmer over low for 10 minutes or until beans are tender. Remove garlic and stir in vinegar, salt and cinnamon. Cook, uncovered for 3 minutes
