5-Ingredient Applesauce Dog Treats

• 3 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
• 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 large egg
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat oven to 350º F and line 1-2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

2.Combine flour and cinnamon together in a large bowl and mix in applesauce, water and egg until fully incorporated.

3.Knead mixture until a smooth dough forms, then turn it out onto a lightly floured surface.

4.Roll dough out to 1/4-inch thickness and use your cookie cutter(s) to cut out treats.

5.Transfer dog treats to lined baking sheets and bake for 40 minutes, or until golden brown.

6.Remove and let cool completely before treating your pup.
