  • 1 1/2 lb sea scallops
  • 3 T melted butter
  • 1 1/2 T sherry wine
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 1 1/2 T chopped chives
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Set the oven to broil.

Remove the elastic ligament attached to scallop. Place scallops into four 8 oz casserole dishes. Brush the scallops with melted butter. Drizzle sherry wine evenly over top. Sprinkle with salt and papper and dust with paprika. Clean edges of casserole with towel.

Place casseroles on baking sheet approximately 3-4 inches under broiler on high heat and broil for 2-3 minutes or until scallops are golden brown and opaque in center. Remove from broiler and brush with remaining butter. Place each casserole on a plate and top with chopped chives.
