Ingredients

  • 9 medium potatoes, chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds 95% lean ground beef
  • 6 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (16-oz.) bag frozen green peas
  • 1 (16-oz.) bag frozen corn
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour OR gluten free flour
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons skim milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Boil potatoes for 15 minutes in a large pot over high heat. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over high heat and drain.
In a bowl mix the beef, tomato sauce, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, peas, and corn. In a separate bowl mix the flour and water, then combine with the beef mixture. Pour beef mixture in a casserole dish.
Drain the potatoes, mash, and spread over the beef.
Bake for 25 minutes, brush the milk over the top of the mashed potatoes and cook 5 minutes longer.
