  • 5 - 7 pcs ripened saba
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup ripened jack fruit (langka)
  • 10 pcs lumpia wrapper
  • 2 cups of cooking oil

Preparation

Step 1

1.Peel off banana and slice in half, lengthwise.
2.Put brown sugar on a plate and coat each banana making sure that sugar is evenly distributed.
3.On a separate plate, arrange a lumpia wrapper and place a coated banana on the edge of wrapper and lay one strip of jack fruit on top of the banana. Fold starting at the end of the wrapper with the filling, fold the 2 sides in, then roll up to the end. Seal the end with water.
4.In a deep pan, heat up oil. Coat each wrapped banana one more time with sugar before deep frying. Deep fry until golden brown.
5.Serve hot, share and enjoy.
