Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients
- 2 cans low sodium crushed tomato (28 oz)
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 yellow onion - diced
- 5 cloves garlic - crushed
- burger
- fennel
- basil
- oregano
- pepper
- italian seasoning
- nutmeg
- sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Heat pan and coat in olive oil, add onion and garlic and cook until transluscent. Add any other veggies (peppers, mushrooms) once onions start cooking. Add ground burger and 1 tsp crushed fennel.
Cook meat through and add both cans of crushed tomatoes and a palmful-ish of basil, oregano, italian seasoning (can also add thyme, rosemary). Pinch of nutmeg and pepper.
Add enough sugar to cut the acid.
Simmer for 20-30 minutes. Add tomato sauce if needed.
