Ingredients
- 1 lbs of Navy Beans
- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Sweet Onion
- 3 Stalks of Celery
- 2 tbls of garlic
- 1 32 oz bx of Chicken Stock or Broth
- 1 pk of Ham
- A good bit of Cajun Seasoning
- Salt-Pepper-to taste
- Olive Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Soak Beans for eight hours
Finely chop vegetables
Add Cajun Seasoning Olive Oil and Vegetables to crock-pot on high let cook for 10 mins
Add beans and chicken stock let cook for 3 hours then add chopped-up ham for the remainder of the time about 7 hours total. Keep an eye on your beans when they are tender they are done. Adjust temp as needed
