Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • 1/2 cup nuts
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup rhubarb
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Beat 1 1/2 cup brown sugar, oil, & eggs. Mix soda with milk and add the first mixture.

Add vanilla, salt, flour, rhubarb, & nuts in that order & blend throughly.

Pour into two greased loaf pans. Mix together remaining 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter. Sprinkle mixture on top of loaves.

Bake 325* for 1 hour.
