Primal Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 cup coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 5 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup raw unsalted almond butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup coconut flour

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350˚F. Mix the coconut oil, bittersweet chocolate, and pure maple syrup in a small saucepan over low heat. When melted and combined, remove from heat. With a wooden spoon, blend in the eggs, baking soda, and vanilla. Add in the almond butter and stir until combined. Fold in the coconut flour. Pour batter into a 9x13 inch baking dish that has been lightly greased with coconut oil. Bake for 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting and serving.
