Ingredients
- For the Drink:
- 10 ounces chopped dark chocolate
- 6 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Simply Organic Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon Simply Organic Cayenne
- 4 ounces añejo (aged) tequila
- For the Garnish:
- 4 marshmallows
- 4 Simply Organic Cinnamon Sticks

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place the chopped chocolate in a medium-sized heat-proof bowl.
2. Heat the milk just to boiling in the microwave. Depending on your microwave, this may take around 3 minutes. Be careful, it might boil over, so watch closely. Alternatively, heat it on the stovetop in a saucepan, careful to stir constantly with a wooden spoon to avoid scorching.
3. Once the milk reaches just the boiling point, carefully pour it over the chocolate and stir until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted. Add the cinnamon and cayenne and stir. Stir in the tequila and portion into serving mugs.
For the Garnish:
1. On a long skewer, toast 4 marshmallows over a stove burner or a crackling fireplace. Use a fork to pull each marshmallow off one by one, and place one on each mug of cocoa, add a cinnamon stick and serve.
