Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter (one stick)
  • 1 cup fairlife whole milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • milk glaze
  • 2 Tbl fairlife whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
Over low heat, melt the butter. Pour in milk and vanilla extract and stir over medium-low heat until small bubbles appear – but do not boil. Reduce heat to low.
Combine eggs and sugar in a stand mixer with whisk attachment. Whisk for 5 minutes at a medium-high speed.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt into a medium bowl.
Slowly add milk mixture to egg mixture with mixer on low. Turn off the mixer, add in half the flour, combine. Add the rest of the flour, combine.
Pour batter into bundt pan and bake for approx. 50 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick 10 and 5 minutes before timer ends – you really do not want to overbake.
Allow cake to cool before turning over onto your cake stand.
In a medium bowl, hand whisk milk and powdered sugar. Drizzle over cake, serve.
