Ingredients

  • 1 12-ounce package jumbo macaroni shells
  • 2 9-ounce packages frozen creamed spinach in cook-in pouch
  • 1.5 lbs ricotta cheese
  • 1 8-ounce package mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 pound ground beef or italian sausage w/o casing
  • 1 32-ounce jar spaghetti sauce

Step 1

1. Prepare macaroni shells as label directs, drain well.
2. Prepare creamed spinach as label directs; open into a large bowl and cool slightly.
3. Stir in ricotta, mozzarella, salt and pepper.
4. Stuff each shell with a table spoon of mixture.
5. Arrange shells in casserole dish
6. Cook ground beef or sausage until browned, stirring frequently. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Spoon sauce over shells and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until bubbly

For frozen shells, cook at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
