Ingredients

  • FROSTING:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons light cream
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Add sugar to eggs; beat. Melt margarine; add to egg mixture. Blend in flour and cocoa; add vanilla and nuts. Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake in moderate oven (350deg) 25 to 35 minutes; cool.

FROSTING:
Combine frosting ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir until of spreading consistency. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut in 2 inch squares.
