CHOCOLATE PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 10 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Mix sugar, salt, cocoa, and flour; add beaten eggs and milk. Cook, stirring constantly until thickened. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue.
