BLACK WALNUT PIE

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup dark syrup
  • 1 cup black walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Brown butter. Beat eggs; add all other ingredients. Bake in preheated oven 425deg for 10 minutes, then 325deg for 40 minutes.
