Ingredients
- 1 (1 pound) package confectioners' sugar, sifted
- 1/3 cup cocoa (regular-type, dry)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add water and butter; blend. Add vanilla. Frosts tops and sides of two 8- or 9-inch layers.
