Mix:
1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2/3 cup melted margarine

Bake:
1/2 this batter for 5 minutes in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan at 350deg.

Melt:
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1 large bag caramels

Spread over crust:
Caramel mixture
1 cup pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Top:
Drop remaining batter on top.

Bake:
18 minutes at 350deg.

NOTE: Dough will not look done. It will finish cooking as it cools. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
