Easy Balsamic Chicken 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves, skinless, boneless (1 pound total)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Place each chicken breast between two pieces of plastic wrap. Pound each lightly with the flat side of a meat mallet to make an even thickness (about 1/2 inch). Remove plastic wrap.

Place the chicken in a shallow dish. In a small bowl or small glass measure, combine remaining ingredients and pour over chicken. Cover and marinate 1 to 4 hours.

Place chicken on the rack of an uncovered grill directly over medium coals. Grill, uncovered, for 10 to 12 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer registers 170 degrees , turning once and brushing with marinade halfway through grilling time. Discard any remaining marinade.
