Tuscan Style Drumsticks

Grilled chicken drumsticks marinated in olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Savory and bright, perfect for summer grilling.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Zest of 1 lemon, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 t teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8 chicken drumsticks

Preheat grill to medium heat.
Combine oil, zest, lemon juice, garlic, rosemary, parsley, salt, black pepper, and pepper flakes for the marinade. Reserve 2 tablespoons marinade, toss drumsticks with remaining marinade to coat, and let stand 30 minutes.
Brush grill grate with oil.
Remove drumsticks from marinade; reserve marinade for basting. Grill drumsticks, covered, 2 minutes. Flip drumsticks, brush with marinade, and grill 2 minutes. Continue flipping and brushing drumsticks with marinade every 2 minutes until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the meat registers 175°, about 10 minutes more. Transfer drumsticks to a bowl, toss with reserved 2 tablespoons marinade, and let rest 3 to 4 minutes.
