Step 1
½ cup margarine
1 cup water
1/2 cup Crisco
4 tablespoons cocoa

Bring to a boil and let cool. Add:
2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
2 whole eggs
1 teaspoon soda

Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan at 350o for 25 to 30 minutes.

ICING:
1/2 cup margarine
6 tablespoons sweet milk
4 tablespoons cocoa

Bring to a boil, then let cool. Add:
1 box powdered sugar
1 can coconut
1 cup nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Place on cake while hot and cover to cool.
