Lemon Chicken

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 2 1/2-3 lb Chicken, cut up
  • 1/4 cup Flour
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1 6 oz can Lemonade,thawed
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Catsup
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Water,cold
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Coat chicken pieces with flour. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Saute in cooking oil until browned. Place in crock pot or covered baking dish.

Mix the next 4 ingredients together and pour over chicken.

Cook on medium in crock pot for about 3-4 hours.

Before serving, mix water and cornstarch to make a paste. Pour all liquid from pot and place in a small saucepan. Bring to low boil and add cornstarch mixture and stir until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken.

Good served with cooked rice.

Note: This sauce recipe doubles very easily if you would like extra sauce for rice.
