Pineapple Meatballs

Ingredients

  • Meatballs:
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 slice bread
  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 1 lb ground round steak
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tea salt
  • pepper to taste
  • dash of garlic salt
  • 2 tbsp salad oil
  • Pineapple Sauce:
  • 1 can beef bouillon
  • 1 #2 can pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 cup wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tea salt
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all meatball ingredients and form into meatballs. Cook in salad oil until brown on all sides.

Mix all of the pineapple sauce ingredients except the cornstarch. Bring to a boil. Dissolve cornstarch in a little water and add to sauce. Stir until thickened.

Pour sauce over meatballs. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Good served over cooked rice
