Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Dash salt
- 1 cup hot water
- 2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
Preparation
Step 1
Combine first 4 ingredients in sauce pan. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils and is clear. Stir in lemon juice, peel and butter.
Best served warm over gingerbread.
