This is a combination that I think works with little time to marinate the meat.

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 3 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 7 pound pork shoulder

Step 1
Mix in bowl. Rub all over the meat and let sit for no less than one hour or up to 24 hours.
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Put the pork in a roasting pan and roast it for about 6 hours. An instant-read thermometer stuck into the thickest part of the pork should register 170 degrees F, but basically, what you want to do is to roast it until it's falling apart.
