
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves, skinned
- 1/2 small onion, sliced
- 1 lemon
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 (2 ounce) package slivered almonds
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 cup seedless grapes, halved

Step 1
Place chicken and onion in pan and cover with water. Cook until chicken is done. Let cool. Remove chicken from bone, and chop.

Microwave lemon at HIGH 30 seconds. Cut lemon in half, and juice; discard seeds. Combine lemon juice, mayonnaise, mustard, and curry powder; stir well.

Spread almonds in a glass pieplate. Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes, stirring once. Set aside 2 tablespoons almonds. Combine chicken, oranges, grapes, and remaining almonds. Add mayonnaise mixture; toss. Serve on pita bread. Sprinkle with reserved 2 tablespoons almonds. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
