Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground round or very lean chuck
  • 1/2 large onion, minced
  • 1/2 Tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large eggs
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/2 can Cambells tomato soup
  • 1/4 can water
  • 1/2 cup matzo meal
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon ketchup

Step 1

1. Preheat oven 375

2. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except matzo meal and ketchup and mix well. The only way to do this is to use your hands. So roll up your sleeves, give your hands a good washing, and plunge in. kneading and mixing until everything is well blended.

3. add matzo meal and repeat.

4. divide mixture into a breadpan spread ketchup on top of the meat loaf. Bake one hour.
