Chicken - Crackermeal Oven Fried

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup cracker meal
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (if desired)

Preparation

Step 1

PREPARE:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Moisten chicken with water; shake off excess.

Place 1/3 cup cracker meal on waxed paper or in a shallow dish
or pan.

Season with 1 teaspoon seasoned salt and 1/2 teaspoon onion
powder if desired. Press chicken firmly into cracker meal, coating completely, Discard any leftover crumbs.

BAKE:
Place chicken on ungreased or Foil lined baking sheet; drizzle with 1/4 cup melted margarine. Bake chicken with bone at 400 Degrees for 50 minutes. For boneless chicken, bake only 20 minutes. Do not turn or cover chicken during baking.

Pork Chops: Prepare as above using 6 thin gork chops. Bake at 425°F for
40 minutes or until chops are done.

Fish Fillet: Prepare as above using 1 (pound fish lillets. Bake at 425°F for
1 to 20 minutes. or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork
