For extras I added a few parsnips, a little pepper sherry and rosemary salt.
Or for something different try 2 Tablespoons Italian Seasoning and 1 pkg. dry spaghetti sauce mix.

Hawaiian Pot Roast or Stew in Crock Pot 0 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1-3 lb. pot roast or pork, chunked ( I used pork)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1- 15.5 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 2-4 carrots sliced
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 can pineapple slices or chunks plus liquid
  • 6-8 red potatoes, diced
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Brown roast or cubes in saucepan using a little olive oil. Add onion and garlic. Stir and continue to brown until the onions are transparent.
Add to your crock pot and the rest of the ingredients except the salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.
Taste it, and season with salt and pepper if needed. Serve.

Note: If using the 4qt. Gourmet Cooker, on stove put pan on medium heat.Follow above and cook on 2 (low) for 4 to 6 hours or 3 (medium) for 2 to 3 hours.
