GARLIC CHEESE GRITS

Ingredients

  • 1 6-ounce roll garlic cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 11/2 cups (about) milk
  • 1 cup quick-cooking grits
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Cook grits with salt in water in saucepan until thickened. Melt margarine with cheese in saucepan over low heat. Add grits; mix well. Beat eggs in measuring cup. Add enough milk to measure 2 cups. Add to grits; mix well. Spoon into greased 11/2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until set. Yield: 8 servings.
