Cream of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 C. Chicken Broth (or 3 cans)
  • 3 C. Water
  • 1/2 t. Salt
  • 1/8 t. Pepper
  • 16 oz. bag Frozen Broccoli
  • 1 C. Flour
  • 3 C. Half & Half

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine broth, water, salt & pepper; bring to a boil. Add broccoli & simmer 8 minutes until tender.

In bowl, add flour & 2 C. half & half - blend until smooth. Slowly add to soup, stirring constantly. Cook over medium heat until thick (stirring constantly). Add remainder 1 C. Half & Half.
