Pie Crust for Meat Pies

- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
- 1/3 cup crisco
- 4 - 8 tablespoons icewater

Step 1
Sift the flour and salt into a bowl. Cut in the butter and crisco until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle with 6 tablespoons icewater and mix until the dough holds together. Add a little more water, 1 tablespoon at a time if necessary.
Gather the dough into a ball and flatten into a disk. Wrap in waxed paper and shill at least 30 minutes.
