Ingredients
- 3 1/2 lbs Short Ribs (beef)
- 1 T Olive Oil
- 2 1/2 Cups Water (divided)
- 1 6oz can of Tomato Paste
- 1 cup Ketchup
- 1 clove of Minced Garlic (or use gran pwdr)
- 3/4 cup Brown Sugar Packed
- 3/4 cup Chopped Onion
- 1/2 cup Cider Vinegar
- 6 t Prepared Mustard
- 1 1/2 t Salt

Preparation
Step 1
In Dutch Oven brown ribs in oil
Add 2 cups of water and bring to boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Drain.
Combine tomato paste, ketchup, garlic, brown sugar, onion, vinegar, mustard, salt, and remaining water.
Mix well and pour over the ribs, bring to boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until meat is tender.
Ready in approx. 2 1/2 hours
