Ingredients
- Mixture to mix with the apples
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
Preparation
Step 1
Toss apples with 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Mix all dry ingredients and toss with apples and spread over pie crust. Add 1/4 cup butter cut into small cubes and spread around apple mixture and cover with top pie crust.
NOTE:
Covered pie, brush with eggyolks and bake at 350 degrees until apples are tender.
