Ingredients

  • Rub:
  • 2 tb sugar
  • 1 tb garlic salt
  • 1 tb paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp celery seeds
  • dash ground cloves
  • Mop sauce:
  • 1/2 c beer
  • 1 tb cider vinegar
  • 1 tb olive oil
  • 1 tb worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tb bottled bbq sauce
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp celery seeds
  • 1 2-4 lb fresh beef brisket
  • 1 onion chopped

Preparation

Step 1

combine all for rub.
rub on all sides of brisket and brown in skillet.
Chop onion and place in bottom of slowcooker, place brisket on top.
Combine all for mop sauce
poor over brisket.
Cook on low 8-10 hours
