PARTY POTATOES

Ingredients

  • 5 cups instant potatoes
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • Paprika, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Bring milk, water, margarine, and salt to boil; remove from heat and add potatoes; stir and let set. Add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Place in greased 9 x 13 inch casserole. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350deg for 30 minutes.
